The Resonance r16m-LITE is a portable, touchscreen. The r16m-LITE uses a hand held probe, making it easier to navigate buttons and to obtain a seal during tympanometry.  Like the Timpani, the r16m-LITE offers tympanometry (226 Hz probe tone).  Despite costing less than the Timpani, the r16m-LITE also offers 1000 Hz probe tone and ipsilateral acoustic reflex capabilities at 0.5, 1, 2 and 4 kHz.  Even if you are only looking for a tympanometer, you will save money going the r16m-LITE route.
